Kate is holding a BS degree in mathematics and computer science, but photography have always been her passion, as welll as visual arts.

She was born in Russia and immigrated with her family to Israel when she was fourteen. In 2004 she moved to New York and started working for a software company in Manhattan.

After gathering an excessive amount of travel photography from dozens of places around the world, Kate started to draw attention to her work. After being sought by more and more people for taking their headshots, Kate started studio photography classes and became involved more and more in photography life in New York.
